What is Hydrafacial?

A HydraFacial is a powerful, non-invasive skin treatment that combines cleansing, extraction, and hydration while delivering serums and antioxidants deep into the skin. It removes dead skin cells and impurities, while simultaneously delivering moisturizing serums into the skin.

How Does Hydrafacial Work?

Hydrafacial is no ordinary facial. It’s a vacuum assisted cleansing of the pores followed by an assisted delivery of hydration and serums deep into the pores of your skin.

The treatment starts with loosening and opening the pores and prepping the skin using a mix of glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and several botanical ingredients. Once the pores are open, the vacuum-powered extraction cleanses the pores to remove dirt and oils. Finally the device pumps hydration and serum deep into your pores for an optimal delivery and optimal results. The treatment concludes with a fifteen minute red light with LED (Light Emitting Diode) phototherapy, which is used to improve cellular function, enhance healing and decrease inflammation.

The Benefits of Hydrafacial:
  • Gentle treatment for everyone: Hydrafacial is perfect for all skin tones and types. It is well tolerated on even the most sensitive skin.
  • Brightens and Hydrates: By unclogging the pores and delivering crucial hydrating serums, Hydrafacial leaves the skin brightened, hydrated and dewy. The exfoliating acids also stimulate collagen production, so regularly scheduled Hydrafacials help lessen fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Noninvasive, Painless and safe: Hydrafacial have a very low risk of discomfort or other side effects.

Consultation: Prior to the procedure, you’ll have a consultation with our esthetician who will assess your skin condition, discuss your goals, and determine the most suitable treatment plan. Hydrafacials can be scheduled without a consultation if a patient has had them previously.

Aftercare: Following the procedure, it’s essential to follow instructions for post-treatment care. This includes avoiding sun exposure, using gentle skincare products, and applying moisturizers or serums as recommended.

Safety and Considerations:

Hydrafacial is a dependable skincare treatment that is typically well tolerated with very minimal risk of side effects. Occasionally patients may experience mild erythema, dryness or skin flaking.

Conclusion:

Hydrafacial has emerged as a popular and effective treatment option for maintaining your skin’s health. If you think that you may benefit from Hydrafacial, we recommend scheduling a consultation so that we can assess your specific needs, provide personalized treatment recommendations, and guide you through the process.
